More Food Trucks and Miniature Houses

What a week.  After a long winter of staying indoors every single day, I forgot how busy summer can  be with all of the awesome outdoor activities available.

On Wednesday, the three of us headed out to the food trucks at Creve Coeur Lake.  It was a great day to spend with my family.

Disclaimer:  Despite her grumpy appearance in most pictures, Katherine is actually a very happy child.

On Thursday after an awesome lunch at Hodak's (you must try this place), we headed over to the Miniature Museum of Greater St. Louis.  To be honest, I didn't even realize this place existed.  My mom actually found it online.  It's a quaint little museum full of doll houses and doll house furniture, as well as all things "miniature."  The ladies running the place were the sweetest, even giving Katherine a tiny doll to carry around with her when she started getting grumpy.

I literally couldn't get over the attention to detail with these tiny doll houses.  Looking at my photos, I forget that I'm looking at a miniature.  Amazing.

This place also just happens to be across the street from Bevo Mill.

Also, in my last post I mentioned finally seeing my recently added fish that I thought had gone missing.  They are both alive and well.  Here's the proof (although only one fish is pictured):

Yay!
