Lazy days, Ice, Babies, and Fredbird

It's been the laziest of weekends around here, being iced in for a few days.  The St. Louis area saw not one, but two ice storms in a three day span.  We barely made it out of our pajamas in 3 whole days and pretty much never left the couch.  I was grateful to finally get out of the house and get back to "normal."

Speaking of ice, I love this photo posted on social media by the Missouri History Museum showing the frozen-over Mississippi River in the early 1900's.  Crazy.

I'd also like to thank everyone for their sweet comments on this post.  Yes, we are expecting again.  I hadn't planned on sharing our news right away, but my second pregnancy belly is already growing much faster than in my first pregnancy.  I wasn't going to be able to hide it for much longer.
Katherine is super excited about being a big sister.  It's the sweetest thing when she calls the baby "her baby."

Just like in my first pregnancy, I'm feeling completely drained.  I basically need a nap every. single. day.

Lastly, once the ice thawed we headed downtown for our annual Cardinals Care Winter Warm Up trip.  As usual, Fredbird did not disappoint.

I'm seriously considering getting out the Valentine's décor.  The house is always a little sad right after Christmas.  I'm ready to add some color again.

But first, a nap.
