I love holidays. This year for Mardi Gras, along with the beads I bought for work, I made Cajun Jambalaya using this recipe.
It was an easy recipe to follow and turned out pretty good. I remember my mom making it when I was still living at home. It has been years since I've had jambalaya so I had almost forgotten what it was like.
Jason isn't one to try new food, but he gave the jambalaya a try. He seemed to like it.
It had just enough spice. I would definitely recommend it.
Our Fat Tuesday wasn't complete without a King Cake. I bought this one at Schnuck's.
