On Saturday, I was surprised with a baby shower hosted by my brother's sweet girlfriend, Mandy, at
Jilly's Cupcake Bar. It was a complete surprise and I'm so grateful and thankful to everyone who came. In attendance were friends, co-workers, ballet friends, and my mom who just "happened to be in town" this weekend.
I'm embarrassed to say I've lived in St. Louis for over six years now and had never been to Jilly's. I'm absolutely hooked now. We were served delicious hor d'oeuvres, then we were invited to fill and decorate our own cupcakes. We were given yellow cake cupcakes and bags of icing in vanilla, chocolate, and Oreo flavors. Of course there were also sprinkles. I devoured my decorated cupcake. It was a-maz-ing. I was then "showered" with baby gifts. I'm always overwhelmed with the generosity of those around me. It was a great day with great friends. I can't thank Mandy and Zach enough....and Jason for putting the guest list together.

I'm 37 weeks and officially full term this week! That's probably why the excitement of the day Saturday caused me to be completely useless for the rest of the weekend. I'm still recovering. You'll have to look past my "casual" look for week 37. Between recovering from a busy weekend and battling a cold, I'm a little "natural" in this week's photo.
