I finally feel satisfied with the way the nursery looks. Between that and the complete exhaustion I feel these days, I can officially say the nursery is finished. My mom finished making the fabric poms I wanted to hang from the ceiling and surprised me with a Swan Lake mobile to hang over the crib.
I had seen a similar mobile on
Etsy months ago, but the price was a little steep for our nursery budget. I had decided that this particular mobile wasn't in the cards for us and was either going to go without one or find one at a store. I was completely shocked when my mom showed up last weekend with an almost completed Swan Lake handmade mobile. This one is so much better than the one I found on Etsy because it was made with love by Katherine's grandmother. One day, Katherine will know that her grandmother loved her so much that she spent hours making the perfect ballerina mobile to hang in her nursery.

With the poms and mobile now in place, I feel ready to share the finished nursery. You can see what the room originally looked like

I was a little on the fence about having maternity photos taken. In the end I decided to go ahead a do a few just to have, to prove that I actually did this!
I'm 38 weeks now. Ready, ready, ready!
