2016 in Review
5:42 PM2016 has gotten a bad rap. I can't really complain about it. Last year started off a little rocky, but ended on a high note. Here's our 2016 in review:
January:
We started the year off living with my parents after our house sold and we weren't able to find a new house right away. I also got to see WICKED.
February:
We house hunted a lot, Katherine's Papaw had a birthday party, and I changed my hair color.
March:
Lots more house hunting, Katherine turned 3, and Easter!
April:
More house hunting and we made a trip to Arkansas to visit my grandmothers and great-aunt.
May:
Oh sweet May. We went to Branson, celebrated Mother's Day, FINALLY BOUGHT A HOUSE, and our nephew graduated from high school.
June:
We celebrated Father's Day, I gave our antique wardrobe a makeover, and I introduced everyone to Katherine's new playroom.
July:
Fourth of July, a tour of my office space, and summery treats.
August:
We hosted my parents' birthday party and we finally finished painting and hanging things in our living room and foyer.
September:
We visited the Missouri Botanical Gardens, I showed you what I wore each day for a week, Katherine and I had a girls' day at the Butterfly House, I discussed The September Issue, and also had a little Q&A with Katherine.
October:
DIY's, decorations, treats, my birthday, Boo at the Zoo, Pumpkin Glow, and trick-or-treating!
November:
I talked holiday pies, we had random hot air balloons floating by, Katherine and I went on outings, we voted, and we filled an Operation Christmas Child box.
December:
More DIY's, Katherine sang in church, we baked lots of cookies, and continued with our favorite Christmas traditions.
It's been a good year for us and I have high hopes for 2017. Happy New Year!
