With one week left until we close on our first house, I’ve sprung into interior design mode. My design style is mostly on the Mediterranean side. I like old world authenticity, rustic tones, and hand-crafted accents.


I’ve been looking through photos of rooms online and in catalogs to decide on what colors to paint the walls. Part of the fun is seeing if I can recreate a room using things that I find at resale shops, meaning spending half of the price.
