Nursery In Progress
8:59 PM{This used to be our "office."} |
{Poor sad, ugly room.} |
{Painting.} |
{Ceiling fan installation.} |
With the walls painted, curtains hung, ceiling fan and light installed, and carpet cleaned, it's time to start moving furniture in. More on that later. So far all of the nursery accessories have been DIY projects.
{I found this at Potentials.} |
{After a little sanding.} |
{Of course it needed a coat of pink paint.} |
{The perfect place for Angela Doll to sit.} |
By the way, Angela Doll was my favorite doll when I was little. My mom made her for me. Now, with a new ballet outfit, she's ready to play with her new friend Katherine.....eventually. Only when Katherine is old enough to treat Angela Doll with respect and care.
{I found this little hamper at Potentials.} |
{Now it is a baby hamper.} |
{I found this mirror at a yard sale back in the summer, and couldn't decide what to do with it. It has sat in our basement for months.} |
{I put some fresh paint on it, took off the rickety "doors," and added some clear knobs.} |
{It is now a mirror to hang over the baby's dresser in the nursery. It also holds her headbands.} |
{I found this at a resale shop. Hate the print, but love the frame.} |
{I removed the print and added wire across the back of the frame.} |
{A new way to display photos. In this case, ultrasound photos.} |
On Sunday, Jason and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary. We had an amazing dinner at Gulf Shores Restaurant and Grill.
I'm 32 weeks this week, and have said goodbye to my bellybutton.
