Monster Cookie Dough Dip
7:30 AMI mentioned earlier in the week that when we're snowed in the house, I tend to make lots of sweet snacks. Swimsuit season seems so very far away so why not add some extra "insulation" during these cold months? It's probably just boredom, but I always make more snacks during the winter.
This week I made Monster Cookie Dough Dip, for no other reason than:
a) It required a bunch of random stuff that I already had in the pantry
b) It let me use some left over Christmas candy
c) It sounded good and I was bored....and hungry
Monster Cookie Dough Dip
What you’ll need:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
½ cup butter, slightly softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 cups powdered sugar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 ½ cups rolled oats
2/3 cup plain M&Ms
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
What to do:
1. With a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat the cream cheese, butter, and
peanut butter until smooth.
2. Add in the powdered sugar, brown sugar, flour, and vanilla.
3. Using the paddle attachment on your stand mixer or just a wooden
spoon, mix in the oats.
4. Add the M&Ms and chocolate chips.
5. Store in the refrigerator until serving. (Dip will firm up in the refrigerator.)
Serve with pretzels, graham crackers, or apple slices. I used pretzels. Lots of pretzels.
