I'm trying not to over do the chalkboards in my house, but I couldn't help but make one more for the nursery.  For now, it's decorative.  Later I'll let Katherine have her own fun with the chalkboard.

I bought an old print at a resale shop.  I took the print out of the frame, painted the frame white, and painted the back side of the print with chalkboard paint.  I put several coats of chalkboard paint on the print.  After putting the chalkboard back in the frame, the chalkboard was ready to go.

I put the lyrics to "You Are My Sunshine" on the chalkboard because my mom used to sing that song to me when I was little.  Now the chalkboard hangs in the nursery.
